Researching Architecture! Art Nouveau and Gothic!

Firstly, I researched gothic architecture.

 During research I came across an old architecture book and I found a really stimulating quote in this W. R. Dalzell Architecture book the quote was by Mies van der Rohe.

“ In its simplest form, architecture is rooted in entirely functional considerations, but it can reach up through all degrees of value to the highest sphere of spiritual existence, into the realms of pure art”.
